PAPER ANGELS
Paper Angels is an innovative, closed loop fashion label and zero waste design lab based in Sydney / Eora.
We purely specialize in zero waste manufacturing of basic garments via our patented tessellating production method . Our specialized approach came from the very principles that surround making “Paper Angels chains”, with minimal cuts and multiple Angel’s hand in hand.

We set out on our journey to achieve zero waste manufacturing in late 2021, intending to provide guilt-free, handmade, ethical basics as a ‘blank’ canvas for local designers, artists and creatives to make meaningful, collaborative merchandising. Our vision is to break the status-quo of ‘traditional manufacturing models’ where inefficiencies generate waste / scrap fabric and are considered standard practice.
 
NESTING PROBLEM. 
"The Nesting Problem", in its broader geometry context, is 'a two-dimensional cutting and packing problem involving the configuration / nesting of irregular shapes to optimize efficiently in minimizing waste to maximize utilization. 
Picture a delicate dance of garment patterns on fabric with an almost infinite number of configurations, our patented tessellated cutting technique composes a rich symphony in zero waste design where each cut is a note within our sonnet to mathematics & geometry.

In the midst of lockdown 2020, Halo Print Co. was born out of an idea to fill a gap in the market and provide people with one off custom tees, same day & with a smile. Since then we’ve dedicated ourselves to becoming the easiest printers to work with. 3 years later, we remain a community favourite whilst building a solid reputation on Newtown’s bustling King Street as one of Sydney’s truely same day custom t-shirt shops.

Never wavering from the attention and care placed on each order and every customer, we’ve proudly been labelled “The World’s Friendliest Print Shop” by the community and we’re proud to represent the title so much that it became part of our branding!

Throughout the years, we’ve has stayed dedicated to producing creative prints and designs, while maintaining their commitment to sustainability and ethical practices.
